THE LOSS OF HIS MAJESTY'S SHIPS CHARYBDIS AND LIMBOURNE

| The Association is run by survivors and ex-serving members, from the two Ships. They also provided much of the information included in this site. Support for the Association by way of membership, is also given by the next of kin, family and friends of the crews. The main aim of the Association is to preserve the memory of 500 Shipmates who were lost. Both ships were lost off the coast of France, during action In "Operation Tunnel", in the early hours of 23rd October 1943. Quite a lot of detailed information regarding the loss of both Ships has been collected by the Association. |
